We are seeking a Graduate Electrical & Mechanical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role supports DPI’s sales and business development activities by combining technical engineering knowledge with customer-focused commercial support. The role assists in developing technical solutions, preparing quotations and proposals, building customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Assist with customer enquiries and solution development.
- Prepare quotations, presentations and tender responses.
- Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Conduct market research and identify sales opportunities.
- Support project handovers from sales to delivery teams.
- Attend customer meetings and site visits.
- Participate in DPI’s graduate development programme.
- Represent the business professionally and uphold the Group’s core values and behaviours in dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain business and client confidentiality and comply with applicable data protection legislation, information security standards, and Company and Group policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Interest in both engineering and sales.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
