    Danny is the founder and Group Director of Datalec Precision Installations. A qualified Electrical Engineer, Danny has over 25 years’ experience within the construction and Data Centre industry working for well-respected M&E contractors such as Emcor, Phoenix and PIP Electrical. Early in his career Danny worked overseeing cable installations on a number of projects which led to him managing Data Centre fit-outs. Since branching out and setting up Datalec in 2012, the company has grown year on year to where it is today working for some of the worlds’ largest cloud providers and is expanding rapidly across the US, Europe and the Middle East. Danny has strong leadership skills and his focus on detail and always delivering to exceed expectations drives the Datalec culture to maintain their reputation as leaders in their field.

    Lee is COO for Datalec Precision Installations. He is a Prince2 practitioner and a member of association of project management. Lee began his career in the Armed Forces and spent over a year on active duty during which he was awarded a Major General’s Commendation as well as receiving a General Service Medal for the tour.  Shortly after leaving the Services, an opportunity opened to establish a career in the Structured Cabling Industry. Progressing from an installation engineer through to project management, and then fulfilling a senior management role responsible for an operations business unit, implementing IT Infrastructure, networks and connectivity throughout the UK and Europe as part of a large organisation.  During the last 20 years Lee has been fortunate enough to work on many interesting projects,  most notably the Kings Cross Comms Regeneration, BBC Broadcasting House and as Programme Lead for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games where he was ultimately responsible for providing IT connectivity, satellite infrastructure and support services for all 21 off Olympic park venues across the UK.

    Stuart is a Group Director of Datalec Precision Installations. Following an early passion for motorcycles, Stuart realised he could continue this as a hobby and decided to pursue an education in engineering. Stuart was introduced to electrical engineering through a friend he met playing football and started looking after multiservice projects in 2005. He has been lucky enough to work in several different sectors including healthcare, residential, aviation, network rail, London underground and education. Stuart joined Datalec in 2014 where he is passionate about ‘self-delivery’ to ensure his clients always get the best level of service from his team.

    As Executive Vice President at Datalec Precision Installations (APAC), Peter oversees all data centre business across the APAC region.
    With 40 years of expertise in data centres, oil and gas, mining, metals and minerals (MMM), Healthcare/Pharma, and Airport industries, Peter has held leadership roles in major global electrotechnical companies.
    Peter commenced his career journey as an electrician in London, UK, which then developed into project management and senior director roles, overseeing major projects on a global platform.

    His international career includes working and living across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, providing him with a deep understanding of diverse business landscapes and cultures. Peter is recognised for driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and innovative solutions in complex, tech-driven sectors whilst always having a Customer-first approach.

    Glenn is the Operations Director for the Electronic Security division of DPI. Glenn is a Prince 2 Practitioner and has a diploma in Security Risk. He has over 30 years of experience, having worked in the Electronic Security industry for all his working life. Starting out as an Apprentice Installation Engineer, he has worked through almost every role within the industry, up to Operations Director, a position he holds today. Over the last 10 years as both a Project Manager and Director, he has overseen and delivered projects for financial and data centre clients across the globe. Glenn is hugely passionate about culture and work ethic. Building teams that work together to provide the very best delivery for his clients.

Prior to joining Datalec in January 2023, where he is responsible for looking after Major Projects, he was the London Regional MEP Preconstruction Commercial Manager, for Sir Robert McAlpine. During his career, Will has worked on a number of prestigious developments including The New British Library, University of Herts, The International Broadcast and Main Press Centres for the 2012 London Olympics and Battersea Power Station Phase 1.

While still relatively new to the Data Centre world but with 25 years of project and people management experience within the building and construction industry, he brings a solid approach to managing teams, timelines and projects. Joining Datalec with the installation team at the start of 2023, Tony quickly developed and progressed into a Team Lead position. Promoted to the Project Manager role in June of 2023 and Senior Project Manager in November of the same year, he has a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. He has been responsible for delivering containment and caging at high-profile projects in Berlin & Hamburg and developing strong relationships with clients in North England. He is known for being an approachable and flexible team leader with an impressive eye for detail and is dedicated to ensuring that everyone goes home safely.

    Louis started his career as a mechanical engineering apprentice at BT. After early completion, he worked his way up from becoming BT group’s youngest Garage manager to regional Director, responsible for the entire south region of BT group’s garage network. During his time in the fleet, Louis obtained several awards as a leader, most notably receiving the chairman’s award for leading a team to the finals of the Customer challenge Cup and later, moving into a business improvement consultant role, coaching a leadership team on continuous improvement tools and processes and obtaining recognised accreditations for the business.

    Before joining Datalec in August 2023, Louis worked for Openreach in various leadership roles. Most recently, he was the Head of Newsites Planning, Bespoke Products, and Infrastructure Enablement within the Specialist Operations department. He also led one of Openreach’s most prominent digital transformation rollouts and re-structuring, a role that developed his robust skill set and expertise in operational grip.

    Louis is adept at people leadership and performance management, with a proven track record as a mentor and coach. He has extensive experience in client and stakeholder management, and a fundamental core value Louis takes pride in is putting the customer first.

Working within many different sectors, mainly telecommunications, but was fortunate enough to work on the Wembley Stadium Project. Recently moving to the role of Quality Manager, Brian strives for excellence, and for total customer satisfaction.

    Alan is an electrically biased Contracts Manager with experience in several sectors of construction. He actively visits site ‘on the ground’ to ensure communication from design to installation is correct. Alan has extensive practical experience in electrical distribution, building and public health services, project design, drawing process, procurement of plant, overseeing installation and supervising commissioning, through to project handover. Review and coordination of construction drawings to ensure works can proceed on site with no clashes. He is always proactive with snagging and defects to ensure clean handover of projects. Alan has sound understanding of the running of projects from beginning to end and the dynamics between the various parties involved.

He has managed a wide range of installation works including MV installations, installation and maintenance of explosion proof equipment, complex LV systems, fire alarm systems, nurse-call systems, large building management systems, generators, UPS systems, DRUPS, data centre ICT commissioning and commissioning of large commercial and pharma projects. Joe is adept at meeting deadlines and budgets, organisation of labour, controlling quality and ensuring clients goals are achieved. A fundamental core value Joe prides himself on is that understanding the client’s needs through all aspects of their project.

    Tom is experienced in electrical compliance and has been involved in the testing, inspection, and commissioning of a large number of projects for Datalec Precision Installations. Tom is our Authorising Engineer for Datalec and is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Electrical Safety Rules and Procedures.

    Tim is Head of Strategic Accounts and manages supplier partners and is lead for the ESG task group. Tim started his working career in the Royal Navy where he received his introduction to Supply Chain. Upon leaving the Royal Navy he spent two and a half years in Saudi Arabia with British Aerospace and the Saudi Air Force as a Inventory & Materials Specialist. Returning to the UK he entered the IT sector taking up Account Management roles in distribution where he learnt more about industry Supply Chain and client needs. Working in global companies he firmly understands the challenges Supply Chain faces today having recently returned from a number of years in Asia.

Dan is a driven individual with expertise in negotiation and communication, striving to make his next company a greater success through existing industry links, working strategically to expand and improve procedures and practices. Dan is known for taking a professional approach to the financial management of projects, adept at vendor negotiations specialising in construction projects. Within Daniels career to date, he has operated as a quantity surveyor on some notable projects, with one of them being the James Paget Hospital, Surgical Units (M&E).

Self-motivated and confident he has the ability to grasp information quickly along with excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency. He is able to liaise with all levels of staff from site personnel to board level using ‘situation selection’ techniques and works independently or manages both immediate and diverse teams. Marc is an extremely hard working ‘go getter’ with a proven career and educational development record.

He provides advice and assistance and helps resolve issues that may arise. His other responsibilities include managing and maintaining record keeping, reporting to management and monitoring site supervisors ensuring all H+S weekly returns / SPA Sheets, MEWPS, check sheets GA1 + GA3 and RAMS paperwork is up to date and in order.

    Sean has worked in the HVAC industry for close to 20 years, having started his career by completing a plumbing & heating apprenticeship. After eight years on the tools, he entered the world of commercial HVAC sales, where he progressed to technical specification manager. During this time, Sean worked for various heating plant manufacturers, including Ariston, Elco Heating Solutions, ACV, Baxi Heating (commercial) and SPC. He consistently exceeded sales targets and delivered tailored solutions to M&E consultants and contractors while building and maintaining long-lasting relationships. Having always had a passion for sustainability, providing energy-efficient solutions and client satisfaction, Sean is looking to apply this to his role at Datalec, which started in January 2024.

Since 2021 Alex decided to redirect his skills and take a slight change in his career path by joining the engineering sales division, during this time his experience and knowledge from both general construction and the data centre sector has been key to the building and development of the team.

    Joe hold both CNET CDCDP and CNIDP accreditation and regularly updates his accreditation for System Manufacturers design & implementation courses, in order to keep up to date and maintain a thorough understanding of the latest changes in the industry.
